Norman Miranda brings with him over 24 years of
experience in the IT and Telecommunication industries. During his extensive
career he had varied experience in the end user environment and in market
research and consultancy.
Norman started off his career in MIS with Barclays Bank International
Singapore HQ where he rose through the ranks to become Deputy Head MIS. In
his capacity at the Bank he managed the IT and networking operations.
Deciding on a career change in 1991 he joined Datapro Information Services
Group as a telecommunications and networking industry analyst and
eventually became Research Manager for the Datapro Asia Pacific research
group. During his tenure at Datapro he conducted market studies in all the
major telecommunications markets in Asia Pacific. He also managed several
market consultancy projects for the major international telecommunications
vendors and service providers. The Gartner Group acquired Datapro at the end
of 1997, Norman was appointed Director of Telecommunications under the new
Gartner Asia Pacific operation where he managed the Asia Pacific Telecommunications research team. Norman left Gartner Group in Feb 1999 to
join Resource Dynamics. In his current capacity Norman places middle to
senior level executives particularly in the Market Intelligence, Networking and
Telecommunication Industries.
Norman is a Singaporean and is married with three children. |
