Regional Sales & Channels Manager (ASEAN)

Role:

The primary responsibilities of the Regional Sales and Channel Manager, ASEAN will be working with customers/partners in the ASEAN territory. The Regional Sales and Channel Manager must demonstrate superior customer management capability in developing and selling S/W licenses:-

  1. Identify sales opportunities and prepare sales plan in agreed territory
  2. Achieve revenue targets in agreed territory
  3. Assist customers to determine their needs and identify value proposition accordingly.
  4. Arrange presentations and demonstrations of products and services
  5. Responsible for growing mind-set and product awareness to existing and new customers in the territory
  6. Promote business relationship with customers
  7. Prepare customer profiles and account management plans
  8. Complete  quotations, business proposals and tender responses; updating sales forecasting system as appropriate
  9. Observe and follow the discount rules of the company
  10. Negotiate price and contract terms
  11. Liaise with technical and support staff regarding technical aspects of proposals, trials and installations
  12. Provide timely and accurate management reporting to Sales Director
  13. Identify opportunities in existing customer base
  14. Liaise with delivery staff to ensure services delivery capability
  15. Monitor and be aware of competitors’ product and services strategies
  16. Keep up-to-date on all major Clients Software products and solutions
  17. Manage internal and external customer expectations by keeping channels of communication open at all times.
  18. Work with all Business Partners (BPs) – Distributors / Solution Providers, across ASEAN, to build mindshare for our customer business with these Partners
  19. Drive the BPs to build investments on our customer’s solution, and drive more revenue proactively
  20. Enablement – Provide leadership in implementing skills program to establish BP capabilities required to grow pipeline and revenue in solution sales.
  21. Ensure that the BP’s work with Solution vendors (ISV’s) and ensure they have the skill set to comb the market and create new footprints for our customer in the marketplace. Suggest and implement programs to drive new business opportunities
  22. Ensure the BP revenue targets are met on quarterly basis

Requirements:

The potential candidate needs to be a successful sales and channel person preferably from a software organization. Prior selling experience in the major sectors such as aerospace, automobile, manufacturing or defence industries in ASEAN is preferred. Specifically required are the following skills:

  1. A top sales and/or channel professional with strong networks in Singapore and ASEAN, particularly in the key sectors, to build a strong pipeline of revenue streams.
  2. Strong grasp of the marketplace of CAE, CAD/CAM and PLM, in terms of business opportunities, clients and competition.
  3. A proven track record in closing on large sales opportunities in the area of CAE, CAD/CAM and PLM space
  4.  A graduate preferably with an engineering degree.
  5.  A strong, self-motivated individual with excellent inter-personal skills to lead, motivate and operate at very senior levels.
  6. An excellent and skilled negotiator who can negotiate and sell to business clients/work Business Partners in a professional manner.
